This is a very peaceful and peaceful place. Beautiful scenery and vegetarian restaurant serving delicious vegetarian food.
Serene and beautiful. Peacocks will greet you upon arrival. Make sure to simply sign in at the main office. You’re allowed to take photos inside of the main hall, but no video is allowed. Please dress appropriately and do not disturb the bowing/chanting procession.
Wonderful peaceful environment with great vegetarian cuisine at the restaurant. Just remember, cash only! No credit cards accepted.
Was a nice and quiet place to visit. Has a lot of peacocks. It was fun for the kids to watch.
Stop here and pay respect to one of the most amazing traditions and religions. Was impressed to find such an incredible city hidden in this small town. You feel transported to the Far East once you cross its gates. The temple of the Ten Thousand Buddhas is worth a visit. I was there on a Sunday during a chanting ceremony. Lots of practicing Buddhists and Monks were there. Very peaceful and mystical. Such an oasis of calm, peace and tranquility tucked in the hills of Northern California.
Nice place to visit and walk around. The peacocks are fun to see up close. The temple with the 10.000 Buddhas was an impressive and calm place to visit. There is a lot of material on Buddhism they have for you to look and and take home.

A very calm and tranquil environment. So many different varieties of peacocks and pea hens. The gift store has some amazing collections and are not very pricey. People are really friendly here.
if you need a place to stop and walk around to enjoy the architecture and animals and nature the area can bring, this is a fantastic stop in Ukiah. Also a highly affordable and always spectacular vegan restaurant makes this a true gem in the community.
